Hey there! I hope you’re having a great week so far! Me? Well I’m having a great week, month, and year. Life is good. Recently, when I have had the time to peruse social media and give my two cents on trending topics, something I continue to come across is colorism in the Black community. Obviously, this is not a new idea or topic, in fact, it goes wayyyyy back (hence my topic for SB this week).
Anyhow, have you seen the miniseries Queen? Supposedly, it is based on Alex Haley’s grandmother and her life right before, during, and after the Civil War. I say supposedly because Mr.Haley was outed as a liar chile. Now whether he lied or not is not my business! That’s something you got to find out for your self, sha.
