As you said, RJ was an intriguing person & artist. Because I'm a fairly serious blues music fan, in 2004 I went on a blues pilgrimage to the Mississippi Delta. I've gone back every year for the past 20 years, mainly to attend the annual King Biscuit Blues Festival. Several times over those 20 years I've visited all three of RJ's alleged grave sites. I've also had the good fortune to meet & spend time with Robert Lockwood, Jr, RJ's stepson..a blues legend in his own right. Additionally, I met & spent time with another blues legend, David "Honeyboy" Edwards, who told me he was at the house party where RJ was poisoned thru an open liquor bottle by a jealous husband.

I really enjoy your Sunday Brunch!!
