Time for brunch, sha!
Hey y’all! I’m Brya (Bre-uh), and I’m so excited you’re here! You’re probably wondering what Sunday Brunch is, who I am, and all that good stuff, right? Well, let’s dive in!
I’m Brya—a marketer, emerging writer, visionary and creative genius! I spend my time daydreaming, caring for my plants and animals, binge-watching movies, reading my favorite books, listening to podcasts, indulging in a bit of trash TV (we’ve all been there), and hanging out with my closest friends and family.
Sunday Brunch is my little corner of the world, where I share stories and reflections inspired by my roots in Louisiana and my experiences as a young Black woman today. I talk about everything from music, folklore, and food to the rich history and culture that’s shaped me. *Gratitude break for the reason I’m here, my momma, my grandma, my GREAT grandma, my great GREAT grandma, my ANCESTORS! All my love belongs to you!*
And there’s more! I’m currently writing a fiction book (yay!), and I’ve also started the Sunday Brunch Book Society—a book club where we can come together, read, and discuss stories that move us. It’s a growing community, and I’d love for you to join in on the fun!
I post twice a week, so there’s always something new to explore. Thank you so much for being here, suge. The more I find my voice, the more I hope to help you discover yours too. Subscribe to Sunday Brunch, and I promise each post will feel like a warm visit to grandma’s house—where you’re always welcome and the stories are as comforting as a home-cooked meal. Even if home-cooked meals aren’t your thing, you’ll still feel right at home here.
So, pull up a chair, make yourself comfortable, and let’s get to know each other. Don’t forget to join the book club—you won’t want to miss out! And before I go, just remember—I love you, have a fantastic day, and I’ll see you next time!
