Hey Brunchers, I'm back from my birthday celebrations. Let's get into it!
Happy Wednesday, yall! How’s your week going so far? Mine is going pretty well. How many of you eat Pecan and Praline candy and/or ice cream? Personally, it is not my favorite, BUT it is a STAPLE in the Black community. From southern street vendors to kitchens across Louisiana, pralines and pecan candies tell a story. What started out as French sugar confections was then transformed into a delicious (that’s what they say, chile). Like most things in this country, were born from necessity and creativity.
